Angela Lansbury is reportedly going to be a part of Game of Thrones season. The 90 years old star is going to appear in two episodes. The season will be filmed in Northern Ireland, Spain, and Iceland.
Season 6 ended on an intriguing note with Daenerys Targaryen heading towards Kings Landing with her dragons heaving through the air, spitting menace, if not fire. It has been made clear for a while that it is her who is going to overthrow the kingdom of tyrants Baratheon. However, the tagline Äll men must die” is particularly unsettling, as the threat of infamous deaths looms over the fans.

Often tagged as a sadist approach, the general air of the show is built upon gruesome deaths, even of the likable characters. The goriest of them all would be the death of Oberyn at the hands of The Mountain, where his skull was crushed like a watermelon sending splashes of blood all over, by the latter.
The return of Jon Snow was a pleasant surprise, but him getting betrayed by his brothers of the Night’s Watch was perhaps jointly the most treacherous scene in the history of Television. The other one would be of course the one from the Red Wedding. Lord Walder Frey arranged for the most expensive death scene in Game of Thrones by pairing up with the Boltons.
There was no scope for Lady Stark, her son Rob Stark and co. to escape. Seeing her wail out as she slits the throat of Frey’s daughter, right before her own is cut open, was perhaps the most heartbreaking experience.
The Starks have been privy to a series of unjust deaths right from the time Ned Stark was beheaded. The entire series is built upon the killings of ‘the good ones’.
In light of these, the addition of Murder enthusiast Angela Lansbury will be an interestingly intensive addition to the cast.
As a character from what side or intention, is not known, but she will kick things up a notch. No one knows what the students of George RR Martin have in store, but it sure will be a riveting experience.
The next season shooting has started but is expected to be telecast later than usual.
