The Japanese company Panasonic has come out with a brand new series known as the Eluga series in its smartphone section. The first smartphone in this category to be launched is the Eluga Arc, packed with a unique design featuring a 2.5D curved display glass.
The Eluga Arc is available at a cost of Rs 12,490.
Eluga Arc features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 2GB RAM to power the smartphone. The device comes with a 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded via MicroSD up to 32GB.
In camera section, the Eluga Arc sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a front shooter of 5MP. Apart from its 2.5D curved glass, the Eluga Arc also features a fingerprint reader which can perform functions other than unlocking the smartphone. With the fingerprint reader, you can save up to five fingerprints and customised functions like launch applications, answer calls, and lock down some apps.
Eluga Arc runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a custom FitHome UI on the top. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n Bluetooth 4.0, and dual SIM slots (4G/3G+2G) with VoLTE support. It also has an IR sensor to control home automation devices. The handset is backed by an 1800mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 1.0 charging tech.
