LeEco Le 1s (Eco) with fingerprint sensor, 5.5 screen launched for Rs. 10,899

On Tuesday, at an event held in Mumbai, LeEco rolled out the LeEco Le 1s Eco, a new variant of its Le 1s smartphone in India. The firm has also launched its ‘Supertainment’ services in the country. Priced at Rs 10,899, the smartphone comes with a 1-year free LeEco Membership subscription.

LeEco has priced the Le 1s Eco smartphone at Rs. 10,899, which comes with a 1-year free LeEco Membership subscription.

The company revealed that the first flash sale of LeEco 1s Eco will commence on May 12 at 2pm via Flipkart, where it will be selling its first 100K units at a special introductory price of Rs. 9,999. The handset will be available in a single Gold color option.

The LeEco Membership for entertainment services in India will be available at a subscription charge of Rs. 4900/year or Rs. 490/month.

The Le 1s Eco sports a 5.5-inch In-cell FHD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device runs on Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHZ along with PowerVR G6200 GPU coupled with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Unfortunately, there is no microSD slot for memory expansion. However, the company is offering 5TB space of digital storage for every LeEco user with its LeEco Drive.

The Le 1s Eco sports a rear camera of 13MP PDAF for recording video with 4K resolution and a 5MP fixed front facing shooter. The device also features a mirror-surfaced fingerprint sensor with a 99.3 percent precision rate.

The smartphone is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh battery and a fast charging support, which the company claims to offer 3.5 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charging.

The LeEco Le 1s (Eco) measures 151.1×74.2×7.6mm and weighs 169 grams. The connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, Infrared, Bluetooth, USB OTG, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, and USB Type-C.

Through the LeEco membership, users could avail on-demand-video service, in partnership with Eros Now. The company has also partnered with YuPPTV for live streaming of TV channels.

The firm has also rolled out LeEco Music, in association with Hungama Music. The service will offer over 3.5 million songs in 22 languages, access to over 50 live concerts a year and music videos.
