Jaguar F-Pace luxury SUV launch on Oct. 20 2016; Check price and features


British legendary carmaker, Jaguar will be launching its much awaited F-Pace luxury SUV on October 20, 2016. The SUV will be available in two diesel options – a 2.0 liter and a bigger 3.0-liter unit. The engines are top notch and represent the latest new age engines with better fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and better power delivery.

The 2.0-liter engine produces an impressive 177HP of power while its more endowed version produces 296HP of power and 700Nm of torque. Both the engines are ably complemented by a ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission. The 3.0-liter version also boasts the unparalleled twin-parallel sequential turbocharging and eliminates lag thus giving better throttle response.

Sharing space with the XE and the refurbished XF, F-Pace incorporates the lightweight Aluminum chassis which coupled with lighter engines have helped to reduce 20 Kg lead to better weight distribution.

Looking at the interiors, Jaguar has done an excellent job, and the F-Pace comes with Houndstooth embossed Windsor Leather Sports seats beside a new 10.2-inch In Control Touch Pro touch screen infotainment which is much easier to operate according to the carmaker.

One feature which is special to F-Pace is the activity Key which can be worn on the wrist like a health band while the key fob remains in the car when the driver steps out and enables the owner to relish the outdoor activities without having to worry losing the key fob

The Tata Motors-owned British carmaker has put a price tag of Rs 68.4 lakh base price for its Jaguar F-Pace, and it will be launched on October 20. The top end version will carry a price tag of Rs. 1.12 crores. The booking for the car has already commenced and booking can be done online also according to a company spokseman.
