Shilpa Shinde, the Television actress, has filed a FIR against the producer of famous show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’. She accused producer Sanjay Kohli of sexual harassment against her. The FIR was filed on Thursday at the Walvi Naigaon Police Station close to Mumbai.
The off show story seems to be more active than the television show. Before leaving the show, Shilpa Shinde had a bad fight with the makers of the show. Shubhangi Atre took her place.

She accused Sanjay Kohli of calling her sexy and hot. He had even touched her inappropriately which was objected by her firmly. Sanjay Kohli also threatened Shilpa that he would have her thrown out of the show if she spoke about it. He crossed the boundaries when he asked her to have physical relations with him. Shilpa’s make-up man lost his job because he heard what the producer was saying.
Denying all the allegations Sanjay Kohli’s wife Binaifer said the matter is of judicial consideration and they trusted the judiciary. “We will see her in court”, she added. Shilpa Shinde needn’t be given needless importance for her false allegations, Binaifier’s statement read. Binaifer also said that Shilpa was on the sets of the show in November last year with a box of chocolates for her. No one would do this if someone’s husband has molested you. Media will interact with Shilpa about her case tomorrow.
Shilpa’s FIR has come after a year of her quitting the show. There was an unpleasant brawl between Shilpa and Binaifer. The actress accused the producer of torturing her mentally. She was also made to sign a contract that stopped her from doing other shows.
The actress was also sent a legal notice by the production house Edit II which stated that she had breached the contract. The cast of the show had taken the side of Sanjay Kohli. Shilpa was then replaced by Shubhangi Atre Poorey. The show ‘Bhaabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ continues to air on &TV. The show has become quite popular. The show’s popularity has inspired the makers to extend it by another day and has been named ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai Shanivaar Special”. The Saturday show is visited by famous stars and celebrities.
