The first poster of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Mogul’ has been released. The movie is due for release in 2018. This film announcement came in as a surprise for all.
The news comes in just after his recent announcement about his shooting of the movie named ‘Padman’. ‘Padman’ is a production of Twinkle Khanna and is also a debut for her venture.
Akshay will be playing the lead role, and the biopic will revolve around music emperor Gulshan Kumar. The story portrays the life of Gulshan Kumar – how he struggled his way to success.
Akshay Kumar has always been associated with Gulshan Kumar when he started his career. Mogul will be produced by Sudesh Kumari who is the wife of Gulshan Kumar.
Gulshan Kumar is the founder of most established music companies – T-Series. He is also remembered for the many devotional songs that T-Series released.
Bhushan Kumar said that the movie was a dream come true for him. Bhushan is the son of Gulshan Kumar. His father has been his guidance force through his life. In his heart, he knew that he would make Mogul and present his father’s story to the world. There is no one better who could play the role of Mogul other than Akshay Kumar, he added.
An overwhelmed Akshay Kumar shared his feelings on Twitter. He shared the first poster of Mogul and captioned it beautifully. It said “My association with Him began with my very first film. He was The Emperor Of Music! Now know His story… #Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar story!”
The shooting for Mogul is expected to start at the end of this year. The audience is excited to see a superstar enact the life of a legend.
