The trailer of much-awaited magnum opus “Kaashmora” from Karthi has been released on Friday, October 07, 2016. The trailer gives a peep into what to expect from the flick which is being made in Tamil as well as Telegu. The flick is being made with a budget of 50 crores.
The rushes of the film have been released in its Telegu and Tamil versions. The trailer gives a bare outline of the plot of the content of “Kaashmora.” Karthi will be enacting triple roles, a warrior, black magician, and details of the third character are yet to be revealed. Nayantara is reported to play the role of the deadly Queen Ratna Mahadevi.
The rushes have managed to increase the curiosity of the viewer with its brilliant visuals. Karthi looks impressive in his attire as a warlord and looks even spookier in his sorcerer’s avatar. Nayantara looks resplendent in her role as a wicked queen.

The audio of the flick was also released today, and the music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Santosh is much in demand these days after delivering a string of hit songs. The audio rights of this film rest with Think Music.

The movie is a mystical historical thriller film written and directed by Gokul. Gokul is best known for directing unique stories based on offbeat characters. He is also known to be adept at handling multiple genres simultaneously, and this feature is evident in his past films.
The film will be using cutting edge technology, and many processes will be employed for the first time in Tollywood. A 360-degree omnidirectional camera rig was employed for a particular shoot, something which has never been tried out before.
Since it is a period film, massive sets were erected in and around Chennai, and this made simultaneous shooting possible. It also features an 80 minute VFX scenes which employ the 3D Face Scan technology and it will be used for the first time in a South movie.
The shooting for “Kaashmora” started in May 2015 and the film are scheduled for release on 28 October 2016.
