Pranati Rai Prakash won the MTV India’s Next Top Model show on Sunday, September 11, 2016. As many models in the past that have used the event as a stepping stone for a career in Bollywood; Pranati is also eying a career in the tinsel town. The lady is overflowing with confidence and sees herself as the top Bollywood actress in the next five years.
The 21-year-old lass had a tough fight to the top of the fashion reality show for season two and was given a stiff challenge by from fellow contestants Subhamita Banerjee and Jantee Hazarika.
The bubbly girl who has been crowned the nation’s top model and gushed that she will work harder now to live to her new found status. She revealed that a few TV commercials had come her way, but she would love to do a lot of fashion shows.
She, however, revealed that acting is her final goal and would like to have the best of the modeling world because once she gets into acting she will not be able to return to the world of modeling.
The MTV show featured actress Lisa Haydon and world-class photographer Daboo Ratnani as judges. VJ-actress Anusha Dandekar and Neeraj Gaba filled in as mentors.
Pranati is not a new name in the world of fashion and glamor and has been adjudged the winner in Miss Beautiful Legs, Miss Fashion Icon, and Miss Talented and was also a contender at the Miss India 2015.
Pranati is a small town girl from Patna and was watching the original show America’s Next Model. She took heart after seeing how the girls were transformed into the show. She never for a moment doubted her abilities and is reportedly a great fan of Lisa.
The modeling reality show is a desi adaptation of America’s show. It involves 13 new faces vying for the top title and after an exhaustive selection process; three remain in contention for the top slot. The title comes with a lot of perks which includes modeling for individual brands with a contract for a year as well as a chance to figure on the cover of a lifestyle magazine.
