Yota is a Russian smartphone manufacturer. Earlier the company had launched two devices named Yota Phone and Yota Phone 2. Now, the company has announced the launch of Yota Phone 3 at Russian-Chinese expo. China Baoli and Coolpad are the two companies that have joined hands to manufacture Yota 3. The company has told nothing about the release date of the device. Rumors say that the device will ship to China in September this year. The Russian release of the device will also be in the same days. But, there is no clue about the global launch of the device.

The main feature of this Yota 3 smartphone is the dual screen. The company had also given dual screen displays in Yota Phone and Yota Phone 2.

Yota 3 smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch main AMOLED display with Full HD resolution of 1080p at the front. The back will also possess a 5.2 inch E-ink touchscreen display with 720p resolution. The secondary display of the device will last for a long time even with the very low battery. The device will come preloaded with many Chinese apps in both the displays.

There is news about two variants of the device in terms of internal storage. The regular unit will have 64GB of internal storage. The other is the upgraded unit with 128GB of internal storage. The processing powers are controlled by 4GB of RAM in both the devices. The device will pack a medium range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC.

The optics side will feature a 12MP main camera at the back with dual LED flash. The front will have a 13MP selfie shooter. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the front that can perform various functions.

The device will run on Android Nougat out of the box. A 3200mAh battery is packed inside the device to supply power. The device also features a USB Type-C port that will also perform the function of audio output. There is no 3.5mm audio jack seen in the device. The price tag is $350 (approx. Rs. 22,500) for 64GB variant and $450 (approx. Rs. 29,000) for 128GB variant.

There is no word on its Indian launch. But we can hope that the company will launch the device in India after the Chinese and Russian launches. This is because the company had launched the earlier two devices in India.
