It’s been already one year when Chinese smartphone manufacturer company has launched their flagship model Xiaomi Mi Max. This device comes with a stunning large display and thin bezels. Besides the looks, this device was also equipped with top-notch specifications. Also, Mi Max was a huge success all over the world.
Till date, the major disappointment of the Mi Max users is lacking the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The users are complaining to the official Xiaomi forum about this issue since long. The Chinese company has taken a long time to update their Max model.
At last, the waiting of the users is over. Now, Xiaomi has come up with the Android 7.0 update for the users of Mi Max. Reportedly, Xiaomi already started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Mi Max users which is based on the global MIUI 8.5.1.0. As of now, this update is only available for Mi Max models with 3GB RAM only.
This update will bring a lot of changes to the user interface of the device. This includes a better and much efficient COU allocation strategy. Beside this, there is an inclusion of a new toggle for common settings which is available in search results, and a new feature to hide the content of notification on the lock screen.
This update also comes up with May security patch. Also, there are lots of improvements comes up with this update in terms of performance and user interface.
This Nougat update is rolling out for China and later it will be gradually available in international markets as well. From the Settings option of the device, the user of Mi Max can check if the update for their device has already rolled out or not.
