The world’s leading smartphone maker Samsung has launched the 32GB variant of Samsung Galaxy J7 and J5 Prime in India. If we recall, the company had launched both smartphones in September last year with 16GB storage. But this time they come up with double storage capacity to provide better space.

Since the internal storage capacity has been increased, the price is sure to go higher. The price of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime with 32GB storage is Rs. 16,900 and Galaxy J5 Prime is t Rs.14,900. Both variants are available on Samsung’s official website as well as in major retails shops in India.

Although most of us are aware of the features and specs of these devices, let me do a quick recap the specifications of the both devices.

Specs and features Galaxy J7 and J5 prime

To recap, both devices feature a metal body. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime sports 5.5-inch display, however, J5 comes with the smaller 5-inch display. Both variants run on octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6GHz clock speed.

On the storage front, Samsung Galaxy J7 and J5 Prime come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. You have further option to expand the memory up to 256GB via a microSD card.

On the optics front, both variants sport 13 MP primary camera with the f/1.9 aperture along with LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the company has provided 8 MP front facing camera. The Galaxy J7 Prime is fuelled with 3300 mAh battery. However, the younger variant Galaxy J5 prime sports 2,400 mAh battery.

Both devices are running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own TouchWiz UI layered on top.

In terms of connectivity, both devices offer almost same options. They come with dual SIM feature offering 4G connectivity. Further, both variants offer GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and Glonass.

So, if we look up at the specs, both devices have almost same configurations except the battery power and display size. Big brother Galaxy J7 comes with higher capacity battery and larger display.
