ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has launched its flagship smartphone Nubia Z17 at an event in Beijing. The company is expanding its business slowly in European and US markets. This smartphone is the successor of Nubia Z11 which was launched last year. This company is aiming to provide high-performance smartphone without raising the price bar.
If we look very closely, the designing of Nubia Z17 is similar to Nubia Z11. Nubia Z17 comes with metal body with a bezel-less display. Below are the specs and features of the device.

This smartphone sports 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen with 1080X1920 pixels resolution. The company has launched this device in five color variants: Aurora Blue, Black Gold, Obsidian Black, Solar Gold, and Flame Red. You will not find any bezel display on the left and right edge of the device. However, upper and bottom chin has bezels in order to support sensors, front camera and more. On the right edge of the device volume and power buttons are placed.
In terms of hardware, this device is powered by Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor along with Adreno 540 GPU. In the camera department, this device comes with the dual camera set on the rear front. One is 23 MP and another comes with 13 MP lens which supports 2x optical Zoom. On the front end, the device sports 16 MP camera for video calling and selfies.
Nubia Z17 is housed with 3,200 mAh battery and support Quick Charge 4+. Quick charging function allows you to charge your 50% battery in just 20 minutes. The company has introduced the new function called NeoPower 3.0. This basically kills all unwanted background task and enhance the battery life up to 2.4 days in single charge.
On the software front, this device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
On the connectivity front, this device offers Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, NFC. It comes with Infrared and supports USB Type–C port.
This device measures 152.5X72.4X7.6mm and weighs around 173 grams.
The company has launched this device in three variants. The first one which comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 26,400). The second variant comes with 6GB and 128GB internal storage, priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 32,100). The third variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 37,700).
