Google has joined the fleet of digital payments through launching its new app ‘Tez’. Google has based the app on Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The payment app is available both for Android and iOS. The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has developed the app. The app has a user-friendly interface and will make the payments easier than ever. Moreover, it supports about seven Indian languages.

‘Tez’ means fast and the app will make the payments fast. This is because the user can make payments to the Bank Account through its mobile number. Here, one thing important is that use the same mobile number for both bank account and the application. This is because it will get synchronized with the users’ mobile number. Google has partnered with many companies to ensure the success of the app. To help the users, the company has also launched ‘Tez Scratch Cards’. The experts are hoping that the company will also bring some deals and discounts to attract the customers.

Making or Receiving payments was never easy as it will become now. The user will have to enter the bank account number and verify it. The user can also do all this by sending a message from the registered number through ‘Tez’ interface. After verification, it will prompt the user to add a UPI pin code and you are done.

Another very interesting feature that Google has embedded into this app is ‘Tez Cash Mode’. Through this, the users can trace the nearby agent to either make or receive the payments. The banks on its panel are Axis, HDFC Bank, ICICI, and State Bank of India.

Google has not forgotten to secure the payments. The ‘Tez Shield’ will guard the application against any fraud, hacking, and unauthorized use. The company says that they have built the app to provide utmost security throughout the payments.
