Datawind launched its new budget dual-SIM voice calling tablet Ubislate i3G7 with a price tag of Rs. 5,999. The device is available at a discounted price of Rs. 4,444 at Gadgets360 in single Black colored variant.
With the purchase of Datawind Ubislate i3G7, users will get a free one-year Internet subscription via Reliance Communications. All they have to do is just open the UbiSurfer Internet browser app on the device and visit to the registration portal where a short registration form needed to be filled. The free data plan from Reliance includes access to all websites, audio or video streaming, and local downloads.
The highlighting feature of the tablet is that it is packed with an Intel SoC at such price point. It sports a 1.2GHz quad-core Intel processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. On storage front, the Datawind has featured the gadget with 8GB of internal flash memory that could be expandable up to 32GB by using a microSD card.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the handset is fronted with a 7-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels and a 0.3-megapixel of user-facing camera. While, it is backed with a 2-megapixel of primary rear camera. It measures 188x107x9.8mm and weighs 278 grams.
As far connectivity is concerned, the Datawind Ubislate i3G7 include Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, and 3G as options. It is fueled with a 2800mAh of battery that is claimed by the company to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and standby time of up to 120 hours.
