TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has released the hall ticket for the group IV examination and that hall ticket can be downloaded by candidates by logging on their official website, www.tnpsc.gov.in
TNPSC examination is conducted to recruit staff for various ministries, posts and other subordinate office. This organisation works under the government of Tamil Nadu. The duration of examination is of three hours and will be a written one with objective type of questions in which there will be 75 questions on General Studies, 100 questions on General English Section/General Tamil and 25 questions will be based on Aptitude.
There are 5, 451 vacancies across the state and the exam will be held on November 6, 2016, for recruitment. TNPSC notified candidates on August 9, 2016, for the application process which they concluded on September 14, 2016. Around 16 lakh candidates have registered for this paper.
To download the hall ticket, candidates have to visit the mentioned official website, click on the relevant link, and then they have to enter their application number/login ID and date of birth, hall ticket will appear on the screen and can be downloaded and take out a print of it for further reference.
The admit card is available online only and will not be given to candidates via post or courier as per TNPSC‘s instructions. The details of exam centre, timing and other important instruction on the admit card itself.
It is up to candidates to opt for the language, either English or Tamil for the exam. There will be 200 questions in the paper and maximum 300 marks are achievable.
The commission has set a standard marks for qualifying the exam and proceed further with the selection criteria and then to be called to the next step which is document verification. To qualify the group IV examination, candidates from all the categories need to secure at least 90 marks.
