Tamil director Sundar C looks to have succeeded in getting Hindi actress Deepika Padukone to work in his next multilingual project titled, “Sanghamitra”.
This period film is being flaunted as to be the most expensive Indian film till date. The makers are publicizing that the film will surpass the mega budgets of “Enthiran” and even “Bahubali: The Beginning”.
The movie will be made in more than one language, and Deepika has been offered the lead role in the film. The makers are planning to sign many other top stars from Tamil and Telugu film industry also for the movie. Sri Thenandal Films produce the movie.
The music for the film is composed by Oscar winner singer and composer AR Rehman. As the movie is of the periodic genre so, there will be many special effects which will be taken care by “Bahubali” and “Eaga”, famed Kamalakannan.

Deepika who is 31 years now has been ranked on no. 10 in the latest list of highest-paid actresses published by Forbes’. She endorses many international brands and has also designed her own fashion line of clothing for women. She is the founder of a mental health awareness organization called The Live Love Laugh Foundation.
Deepika is currently shooting for another period film “Padmavati” co-starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She recently completed a Hollywood project “xXx3: The Return of Xander Cage”.
