The famous Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is all set to launch its new flagship device Xiaomi Mi 6 on 19 April 2017 in Beijing, China. For this release, the company is keeping all the secrets under the hood and teasing the fans with buzzes and rumors on the air.
According to the recent leaks, this flagship device will hold a 6GB RAM under the hood. The company shared a video render for the device stressing on the number “666”. This might be the Mi 6, the 6 GB RAM and might be a dual camera set up at the back.
Xiaomi Mi 6 render leaked today, well ahead of Wednesday launch. As per the image, it has rounded display with thin bezels. On the top, it has a speaker, sensor and a camera for the selfie. At the bottom of the display, it has a home key with a fingerprint scanner.
If we believe in recent rumors and leaks, Xiaomi Mi 6 is likely to launch with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front glass. However, as per recently leaked image, it has a home button. So it may get fingerprint scanner inside the home key. Also, this device has an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. The company has put their effort to introduce a USB Type–C port for charging and data sync support. This should be an awesome introductory feature for the brand Xiaomi.
Also, according to the rumors, this Mi 6 is going to launch with a 5.1” full HD display and Android 7.1.1 out of the box with MIUI on the top. As far as storage is concerned, the user is going to get a 64 GB and a 128 GB version to choose between.
In terms of camera specifications, Mi 6 will have a 12MP dual rear camera support. It will also support the 4K video recording. For selfie camera, this device is expected to have a 8 MP front camera.

Back in the past, Xiaomi flaunted a video teaser for their new flagship Mi 6 with a tag line “You waited for 203 days, we waited for seven years” (Translated). So, the fans of this device may expect some revolutionary design, concept and power-packed smartphone from their favorite Chinese company. Now, we can only wait till Wednesday to witness the launching event and the unwrapping of two new devices Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus.
