Xiaomi is among the China’s largest smartphone manufacturers. Since last year, it has started to launch some flagship devices which have earned the company a great fame. Yesterday, the company launched one of the most rumored smartphones of the quarter, the Mi 6. Earlier, it seemed as if the company will launch Mi 6 plus along with Mi 6 but these remained only speculations.
But, soon after the launch of Mi 6, another Xiaomi phone rumored to pass through certification is Mi 6 plus. The new device bearing model no MDE40 has passed the 3C certification and will probably launch after two months. Tech experts are expecting it as an upgraded version of Mi 6, and its rumored specs also speak a lot about it.
The device is expected to come in a bit larger display of 5.7-inches with FHD resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. The processing power will consist of Snapdragon 835 (the latest from Qualcomm) processor paired with 6GB of RAM. It may have two variants in respect of internal storage. These may have 64GB and 128GB of storage. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat along with MIUI 8 on the top.
The camera department is also no less than a true flagship device. The rumors show a dual camera set up on the back. Both the cameras are 12MP with Sony’s latest IMX362 sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP ultra pixel camera with a wide angle. The battery is 4500mAh which is a clear edge over Mi 6’s 3300mAh. For better graphics, Adreno 540GPU will support the device.
These speculations may also change with the passage of time. But, one thing is sure that the device will be an upgrade of Mi 6 launched yesterday. Moreover, the user reviews of Mi 6 will also prove beneficial for the launch of Mi 6 plus.
