Since the inception of the 4G network, the telecom operators in India are offering various lucrative plans. The actual tariff fight started when Reliance Jio launched 4G network in September last year. Reliance has provided free data and voice calling to its users. After that, many companies have offered such plans to counter Reliance Jio. Recently Vodafone India has announced various plans in which it is offering unlimited voice and data packs for prepaid users, starting with just Rs. 19 only.
The company has brought two plans named as Vodafone Super Day and Vodafone Super Week. Here are the details of various offers.
Vodafone Super Day Priced at Rs. 19
Under this plan, a user will get 100 MB 4G data and unlimited calling Vodafone to Vodafone. The validity of this plan is one day.
Vodafone Super Week Priced at Rs. 49
Under the Vodafone super week plan, the prepaid user will get 250MB 4G data and unlimited voice calling (Local +STD) on Vodafone to Vodafone network. The validity of this pack is 7 days.
Vodafone Super Week plan priced at Rs. 89
Under this plan, the company is offering additional 100 minutes calls to another network. The prepaid users who will recharge Rs. 89 will get 250 MB 4G data and unlimited local and STD calling on its own network.
The company officials stated that these plans are available across all retails outlets, website and MyVodafone app.
The Director of Commercials at Vodafone stated that these plans would boost the customer confidence. The users will stay connected and will enjoy uninterrupted and best ever services of SuperNetTM4G. Besides this, these plans come with unrestricted repeat buy options. So users can recharge as many times as they want. He further added that this option would ensure more value to customers.
Mr. Sandeep further added that Vodafone was constantly endeavoring to give the best ever network and service to its customer. They are very excited to announce these pocket-friendly and affordable integrated offers.
We need to watch how the customers are going to respond to these offers. Reliance Jio has already given such offers to its prepaid subscribers.
The Telcos are constantly adding new plans in order to ramp up the customer base. As per the TRAI reports, the Indian telecom user base grew about 0.5 % to 119.45% in March.
