Samsung is bringing its one of the most anticipated devices Galaxy Note 8 to India. The company has fixed September 12 as launch date and will organize an event. New Delhi will host the launch event on September 12 at about 12:30 PM. Samsung has already sent press invitations to leading media Tigers for coverage of the event. Samsung has also made it clear that it wants to live telecast the launch event.

Galaxy Note 8 is the latest and top rated device which features a 6.3-inch Fullvision Quad HD+ display with 1440X2960 pixels. Tech experts are hoping that the company will bring 64GB and 128GB variants to the Indian Market. Samsung has said nothing about the price of the device in India. However, it may sell at price of Rs 65,000. This is because the device is selling in America at $930 which equals Rs 59,566.

Galaxy Note 8 has two variants. One has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC and the other has Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 SoC. The RAM in both the variants is 6GB. Galaxy Note 8 is also the first device from Samsung with dual rear cameras. The device has 12MP sensors at the back. One of these has f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens and the other has a f/1.7 aperture. Both these cameras work with the support of Optical Image Stabilization to give users an entirely new experience.

Galaxy Note 8 has an 8MP front facing camera and also the S-Pen stylus. The device comes running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The experts are hopeful that Galaxy Note 8 will upgrade to Android Oreo at the end of 2017. On the back, there is 3300mAh battery which seems a little less keeping in view the display size and resolution.
