Indian smartphone market is one of the most growing markets across the world. It is witnessing the launch of various new devices from different world class brands. ZTE brand Nubia also is among those brands that seem active in Indian smartphone market. The company has released the successor of its Nubia N1 that was released a few months ago at a price of Rs. 11,999. The Nubia N2 has the price tag of Rs. 15,999 which is slightly higher than N1. But the company has justified the higher price by adding some additional features that were missing in Nubia N1. The two most boasted features of the device are 5000mAh battery and a 16MP selfie camera.
The detailed specifications show that the device has a 5.5 inch HD AMOLED display with 720X1280 pixels resolution. The display has 267PPI pixel density and is protected by 2.5D curved glass. Here one thing surprising is that the manufacturer has downgraded the display from Full HD to HD.
Inside the body, there is a Mediatek MT6750 Octa-core processor. The four of these cores are Cortex A53 clocked at 1.5GHz and the remaining four are Cortex A53 clocked at 1GHz. The processor is also supported by 4GB LPDDR3 RAM.
The optics side is one of the most boasted features of the Nubia N2. There is a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There are a dual LED flash support and PDAF technology for better images. The front of the device is adorned with a 16MP Samsung 3P3ST sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens. The device has 64GB of built-in storage with an option to insert up to 128GB Micro SD card in the hybrid dual SIM slot.
The device also has a lot of connectivity options. These include dual nano-SIM, Dual band WIFI 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE support and a port for USB Type-C. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155X75X7.9mm and it weighs about 180 grams. There is a 5000mAh non-removable battery that can give 3 days of standby time and can give about 60 hours of talk time on a single charge.
The company is of the view that it is trying to fulfill the customer’s demands and is introducing new devices based on their feedback. The tech experts are also considering it a competitive device for Moto G5 Plus and Asus ZenFone 3 that have the same price tag. The device is available on Amazon India website.
