Huawei recently introduced its premium flagship smartphone Mate 9 and took the market by a storm. Fans certainly were not left disappointed given the high-end features that the device sported. However, soon reports regarding several software issues that affected the notifications on the device and several problems with the camera’s quality started surfacing online. It appears as if, Huawei does take the user’s convenience in mind since they recently released their first major software update for Huawei Mate 9.
According to a report published by Android Central, Huawei recently started rolling out a software update for Mate 9 users over-the-air (OTA) gradually. The software update comes with several fixes notifications bug fixes and numerous camera enhancements. Users reportedly faced a problem with regards to the device’s notification system which made reading text a daunting task.
Like mentioned previously, the company released several camera enhancements as well. The update adds 6x hybrid zoom the device. Apart from these two major updates, there are several other general improvements such as colour accuracy on clicked shots and low-light shots that have also been launched.
The Huawei Mate 9 is said to be available for purchase in the US market sometime in early January 2017. Several reports suggest that the Chinese company is planning on launching the device in the European markets soon.
The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be priced at a starting price of EUR 699 (approximately Rs 51,600). No news regarding when the device will be available in the Indian markets has been shared as of yet.
The primary features of Huawei Mate 9 include its dual-camera setup with the rear camera features a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 12MP RGB sensor with f/2.2 apertures. The smartphone also sports an 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture.
