Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new plan called Chaukka–444 to give competition to its rival Jio. This plan is a promotional offer which will give its users unlimited data for 90 days. This STV offer is valid only for BSNl prepaid users. Previously, BSNL has also launched an STV called Triple ACE plan which has given BSNL prepaid customers 3 GB data per day for 90 days (Total 270 GB data). As per the telecom company, the offer was a massive success.

Reportedly, this Chaukka–444 STV offers 4GB data per day for 90 days. So, the users will get 360GB data at Rs. 444 only. Mr.R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board said in a press conference “We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segment of our mobile customers. We offer best prices to our customers considering the present trend of Indian telecom industry”.

Due to the massive offers of Reliance Jio, there is a tough competition in the Indian market concerning the data plans. Thanks to the Jio, the telecommunication companies are always trying to beat each other with new offers and schemes aggressively to retain their customers. This fresher in the telecom industry, Jio has already crossed 108 millions of user base being launched on September 1st, 2016.

After the completion of ‘New year offer” of Jio, they have started a plan called “Jio dhan dhana dhan”. In this scheme, they are giving its customers 1GB and 2GB data per day against a recharge of Rs. 309 and Rs. 509 respectively.

Also, Reliance Jio has announced a new plan for 20 percent extra data for the LYF branded smartphone users. Needless to say, LYF is the brand for mobile handsets by Reliance Jio itself. Reported by PTI, Reliance Jio is the cheapest service provider in India in terms of data tariff for its prepaid and postpaid customers.
