Sony released the Xperia XA1 smartphone series in India on Tuesday. The company has set the price of the smartphone model at 19,990 INR. This model is made available in all of the major Sony centers in the country. The model will also be available in all of the major electronic stores across the country. The Sony Xperia XA1 model is the successor of the Sony Xperia XA. This model was launched by Sony last year.
Sony Xperia XA1 was unveiled for the first time at the MWC at Barcelona this year. In addition to this, three more models were also unveiled. These were the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs and Xperia XA1 Ultra. The Xperia XA1 model will be available in three color options in India. These are pink, black and white.
The Sony Xperia XA1 model runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It supports the Dual-SIM slots (Nano + Nano). There is a 5-inch HD display with the resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit P20 octa-core processor MediaTek Helio. The processor will be a quad-core 2.3 GHz along with a quad-core 1.6 GHz SoC. The memory specifications of the Xperia XA1 include 3GB of RAM. There is around 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256 GB with the help of an external microSD card.
There is a 23-megapixel rear camera. This comes with an Exmor RS image sensor. This is available with hybrid autofocus at the rear camera. There is a 24mm lens of wide angle and f/2.0 aperture. There is also the feature of five times zoom along with HDR mode. The front camera of the smartphone is of 8-megapixel with no front flash or OIS. There is the presence of a 2300mAh battery. The connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The phone also features NFC and USB Type-C port.
The dimensions of the Sony Xperia XA1 are 145 mm X 67 mm X 8 mm. The total weight of the phone is around 143 grams. Sony is also offering three months subscription for Sony LIV for free. This offer comes along with the purchase of the Sony Xperia XA1 model.
The smartphone also comes with a Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology. This technology can monitor the health of the phone’s battery. At the same time, it can also adjust the current to maximize the usage and avoid any further damage.
