Lana Del Ray has just announced her upcoming new album titled “Blue Banisters”. The singer posted a teaser of her new album and revealed that it will be out on 4 July. Ray shared the excited news via her Twitter and Instagram along with her grainy selfie, which she also used for the Rock Candy Sweet announcement, but this time with a different filter.

Ray’s new album is all set to be released on Independence Day. “Blue Banisters” is going to be the follow up album to “Chemtrails Over the Country Club”.

Before this, Ray had teased the about her another album called “Rock Candy Sweet” in March, which was set to release on June 1st. However, now with the announcement of “Blue Banisters”, it remains unclear whether the other album has been postponed or cancelled.

Back when Lana Del Ray announced “Rock Candy Sweet”, it was covered by many news magazines and articles including Harper’s Bazaar. Ray had shared overwhelmed Instagram stories. She wrote, “Just want to say thank you again for the kind articles like this one and for reminding me that my career was built on cultural appropriation and glamorizing domestic abuse. I will continue to challenge those thoughts on my next record on June 1 titled Rock Candy Sweet.”

Lana Del Ray shared the news on social media, and captioned it “BLUE BANISTERS Album out July 4”. Soon after the news came out, Ray’s fans couldn’t keep their calm. The post is filled with exciting comments and heart eyed emojis. On the other hand, some fans questioned what this means for “Rock Candy Sweet”, and some other reacted to Lana’s frequent use of PicsArt app for her photos. Certainly, her fans are excited and confused at the same time. One of the fans wrote, “Is this Rock Candy Sweet retitled? Or another project? Either way, sooo excited- the perfect summertime treat.”
