Reliance Jio has achieved another landmark as its ‘My Jio’ app crosses 100 million downloads. This is the second time that an application made by local vendors has reached this figure. Hotstar is the first application to cross this 100 million downloads. My Jio is the second Indian app to cross this download figure. Here, one thing interesting is that My Jio app has achieved this 100 million download figure in less than a year.

Reliance Jio is growing its network at much fast speed since the launch of its 4G services in September last year. Now, it has one of the largest customer’s database. There are more than 120 million active users in this network. One of the reasons of growth is its affordable 4G packages. The company has brought about a great revolution in the Indian market.

Other telecom service providers have also launched similar apps. There are reports that those have crossed 10 million downloads. Another Jio application ‘Jio TV’ has also crossed 50 million downloads. While such TV apps from other companies like Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea have reached 5 million downloads.

Reliance Jio has become the largest broadband operator in the country. The official sources have disclosed that the company has achieved another milestone in the history. The source told the media that Reliance Jio’s My TV app had crossed the 100 million downloads. Experts are hopeful that this would continue and break the record of Hotstar.

Encouraged by these figures, the company will extend its network. Reliance Jio is growing its network across the rural areas of the country. Earlier, the company had also launched an affordable Jio Feature Phone which supports 4G VoLTE.
