Shockingly Google has launched its ‘Aero’ App for Android users on Wednesday in India. The app is to deliver home services in Bangalore and Mumbai. In the initial phase, this app will provide food services and general home services for peoples of these two cities.
This app will provide painter, plumber, electrician, chefs and restaurants and many more services. The users will have options to pay like cards, net banking and cash delivery as well.
This news really comes as a great surprise to everyone, as it has launched very quietly. Generally, Google reveals new apps or products via its blogs and later on through formal press release.
Since last two years, Google is selecting India as a test bed for most its biggest bets. If we recall, the company has first declared its Android One Program here. Similarly, last year Google has announced an instant messenger app ‘Allo’ in India and launched YouTube Go. It seems like India is the best testing place for them compared to other countries.
The Indian-born CEO, Sundar Pichai has a great trust in this country and looks better future growth. He had announced at the start of this year that this country has a potential of a $1 trillion digital economy in coming 3 to 4 years. Then, it really makes sense to make products which are targeted for India.
