Last year, we heard a news that Facebook was working on AR glasses. But, we did not know any details about it. Now, some details about these glasses have come up. These details reveal that the AR glasses will possess a wave guide system. Wave guide system is the system that can project light and images into user’s eyes. This is not the first time that some company is using this technology. Earlier, Microsoft has also used this same technology in its AR headsets, HoloLens, and Magic Leaps. People all across the world consider these as mysterious devices.

Now, Facebook is also going to use this technology to introduce mysterious glasses. These glasses will use waveguide display with two-dimensional scanners. This display has the ability to show the real world images like computer generated images. The wearer will feel himself in entirely new world. There are also reports that these glasses will also have the power to play audio. It means the glasses will have connectivity feature to perform this function. The audio playing feature will be active on connecting the glasses with headphones or speakers.

This also means that the glasses will consist of very small components. The main goal of these glasses is to put Facebook on your face. It would take some time to develop such glasses, but we can hope that it will happen. The leaked report has also told about some more details about the manufacturing team. One of the members of the team is Pasi Saarikko who had worked already on such a mission. He is the person who had played a great role in the making of VR headphones by Microsoft.

We could hope that our next generation will see this development. They would see their babies taking their first steps in these AR or VR tools. This would give a completely new experience.
