Vodafone has launched an internet offer to compete with telecom companies across the country. It is offering 90GB data to its prepaid customers on a recharge of Rs 399. The prepaid users can use this data within six months after the recharge of Rs 399. The offer also includes free local and STD calls. Here, it is important to mention that there is no data cap on the bundle. The users can either consume all 90GB in one day or in 6 months. Vodafone has announced this offer to counter Reliance Jio, Airtel, BSNL and other telecom operators of the country.
This offer has made data war in the country more intense. This war started in September 2016 after Reliance Jio stepped in the telecommunication sector. This offer from Vodafone is a great gift for Diwali festival. Reliance Jio has already launched its Jio Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. The company is offering 100% cashback to all the users on a recharge of Rs 399. Airtel is offering 1GB data per day to its 4G users on a recharge of Rs 399.
There are also reports that BSNL is also planning to launch a data plan in the near future. Reliance Jio is still a winner in this contest as it offers the group of Reliance Jio apps in its data bundle. It is also offering cashback from October 12 to 18.
India is still an unsaturated country in respect of 4G network. Thus, all the telecom operators are launching lucrative offers to attract customers. All the other telecom companies are trying to counter Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio is a pioneer in bringing these affordable data plans in the country. This data war has included India in the list of countries with cheap internet offers.
