On Tuesday, BJP chief Amit Shah asked all the beneficiaries of the Modi-led government schemes to light lamps in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. Shah appealed all beneficiaries to celebrate “kamal deepawali” by lighting lamps and take the pledge for their “developed” state to turn “prosperous”.
Shah through his speech in the poll bounded state sent a message to all the voters that the state and the center is in need of BJP government regarding development in Madhya Pradesh
“Prime Minister Modi and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have extended welfare schemes to every household of Madhya Pradesh. I call upon beneficiaries of central and state government schemes to light a lamp on 21st Nov. and celebrate ‘kamal deepawali’ to mark the progress of the state and take a pledge to make the state prosperous,” Shah tweeted.
Earlier this month, many BJP leaders including some senior leaders requested voters to light one earthen lamp for the Ram temple in Ayodhya during the festival of Diwali.
In order to make a large number of people participate in the campaign by lighting lamps, Party leaders asked the BJP-RSS workers to spread the campaign on the ground in Madhya Pradesh. BJP is putting the best possible efforts in the state regarding the campaign process and to achieve a good number of votes for the BJP in the November 28 polls.
“The call for lighting a lamp and pledging for a prosperous Madhya Pradesh is a campaign tool to highlight the importance of development in the election. No other party is committed to development like the BJP,” a BJP leader said.
After three terms of being in power in the state, the BJP has successfully been able to change the face of the state. The government not only made development in the state but solved the issues of farmers as well. Recently, Madhya Pradesh was listed among the most farmer-friendly states in India.
On the other hand, PM Modi also campaigned for the party and while addressing a rally in the state asked voters to not repeat the mistake of voting for the Congress. PM Modi also accused the Congress of not delivering what it should have been despite ruling the country for 55 years.
PM Modi also asserted that the “double-engine” strength of BJP government in the state and at the center will ensure that Madhya Pradesh will get what it needs to be turned into a prosperous state.
